About Us:
We endeavor to contribute in the betterment of our community, to create a positive atmosphere, which we hope breeds confidence and self-esteem in our community. To help the youth reach their full potential and be the best that they can be through spiritual and active means, by reviving the teachings of our noble role models, the Ahlulbayt (as).
Mission Statement:
We aim to serve the global community, the religious and the non-practicing, by presenting:
Gatherings and Rituals; These represent a spiritual awakening, strengthening faith by condensing and intensifying religious events, unifying and empowering the Shia identity. Rituals that are not merely rituals of lamentation or a source of salvation and redemption, but represent an inspiring force with dynamic principles used as a popular platform to effect changes in the socio-political sphere. These rituals transform knowledge into belief and membership into belonging.
Charities; Charity means to give and then receive. This world is in the form of an echo. There will be echoes of whatever you do and it will return to you with interest. Therefore if you give, you will receive. In this life you are reaping the benefits of whatever you gave towards a good cause in your past life. If you do not do the same in this life, it will all be wasted. What happens if you use up all the wheat you harvest and do not sow anymore? We give charities in the form of food, blood and anything that can be given to someone in need, forming food drives across the year, blood drives etc in accordance with the principle beliefs and ethics as taught by the Qur’an and the Ahlul Bayt.
Education; We work on providing courses in religious and academic studies, to empower the youth of the community, giving them a better insight and reviving the lost Islam of Mohammed and his progeny, that has been hijacked in this current time by ungodly forces causing unrest across the globe in the name of Islam.
Co-existence, peace and tolerance are main aspects that we are committed to uphold, as well as promote social harmony as prescribed in our abundant heritage. It is vital to make clear that all are to be treated equally in this life, and the pursuit of these principles will create a better world for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
